A crude homunculus, stitched together from assorted debris, Dan Hurd pantomimes his designs (with gnarled driftwood hands) for the Lucky's Tale and Creativerse teams. They pretend to know what he's saying and nod out of horror more than anything else. Three goals in life lurch Dan ever-forward: to craft games that cause players to laugh and babble incoherently in pure gaming bliss, to convince Vanillaware to buy the rights to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and to make a true 2D sequel so that Dan can play it, and to own a very large brick of aerogel, because it is awesome and mostly invisible. Dan enjoys working on arcade machines, making convoluted Magic decks, cooking, and hanging with his radical wife Julie and his sometimes-cool-and-sometimes-a-punk baby Neko. Dan has previously worked on several With Friends games, notably Hanging, Matching and Gems, but only designed the cool parts that you like, and none of the bad parts. <3
